DAY FIVE: Worship Begins with Honor

Jesus created circles of honor in His life. Through those circles He taught others the importance of honor. He showed them how they could honor His sacrifice on the cross by growing His church and teaching the body of Christ to honor others and worship God.

Jesus has given us the power to break barriers in our lives. He already modeled for us what honor in relationships should look like. We must incorporate that honor into all of our relationships. When honor is central in our relationships, it becomes central in our lives. And honor in our relationships is birthed out of a love we can only begin to understand when we understand our relationship with God.

We are called to live an ongoing honor lifestyle. That includes becoming more aware of our impact on the world and how we can reduce or offset any negative impact. That honor creates a culture of honor that ultimately becomes a culture of worship, allowing me to worship God through every facet of my life. My prayer is that the lessons in this devotional will help you do the same.
