Be Pure

DAY 2 OF 8

Get pure! Ask Jesus to forgive you and change you.

We’ve all sinned. We’ve all made wrong choices. And we’ve all felt bad about it. But feeling bad or trying to do a lot of good things isn’t going to cover up the fact that our hearts aren’t PURE. Jesus is the only One Who can take care of that. Ask for Jesus’ forgiveness, and choose to follow Him. He’ll give you a new, pure heart. And if you’ve already done that, thank Jesus for helping you keep your heart pure.

Play What’s Missing? to help you remember Psalm 51:10, and watch the Verse Motions video so you can share it with your friends!

What's Missing?

  1. Ask your family or friends to play with you.
  2. Read all of Psalm 51:10 to them.
  3. Read Psalm 51:10 again, but leave a word out.
  4. The first person to guess which word is missing is the winner.
  5. Keep playing the game until everyone gets a turn to read.

Tell Someone: What do you think “a spirit that is faithful to you” means in Psalm 51:10?

About this Plan

Be Pure

Pure. You’ve probably heard that word before, but what does it mean? Let’s find out what the Bible says about it! For Parents: Your child will have a deeper understanding of each day’s reading and questions if you complete this plan with them. This plan includes several games to play for verse memorization. You may want to supervise use of materials.
