21 Days to a Victorious Life

DAY 2 OF 21

Day 2–Set up Your “To Do’s” Daily!
When I reached my late twenties, life started to move fast. I was excelling as a professor, certified public accountant (CPA), businesswoman, and president of an accounting organization. Also, I enjoyed spending time with friends and family. So I knew it was time to learn to manage my time and days effectively.

I decided to find a planner. However, after searching high and low, I realized that there was simply nothing out there to effectively manage my days according to my specific needs. So, I took matters into my own hands and created my own “to do” list by dividing a sheet of paper into six sections and labeling them as such:
God School
Family Personal
Business Rental

Under each section, I listed my obligations for the day. This small, yet powerful task enabled me to carry out my duties, and most importantly, it helped me to Keep It Moving (KIM)!! Failing to utilize my “to do list” often resulted in an unproductive day.

Put it on your schedule
More importantly, not only does a “to do list” serve as a great reminder, it allows you to manage your time wisely, which is the key to victory! Managing my time via the “to do list” ensures that I set aside time to effectively perform routine tasks. My morning schedule consists of the following:
5:30a- Prayer and Reading
6:30a- Writing
7:30a- Exercise
9:30a- Work

Be mindful, I have to alter it at times, but I have an understanding of what I need to do daily in order to bring my goals and dreams to pass. Also, the list helps me to stay focused. While I sometimes have to deviate from my schedule, I am not disturbed because I have allotted enough time to make certain I have taken care of my God-given duties. Just as Ecclesiastes 3:1 reminds us, there is a time for every purpose under heaven.

About this Plan

21 Days to a Victorious Life

21 Days of Victorious Living is designed to provide daily devotions to walk in victory. In God's Word, He says we are more than conquerors (Romans 8:37). Not in some areas of our lives, but in all areas. It is His will that our souls (salvation), wealth (finances) and affairs (relationships) align with God. It is in this place, we will obtain victory after victory!
