Praying For Peace

DAY 4 OF 6

DAY FOUR: Be a Living Testimony

When we believe in our hearts God is good— that His thoughts toward us are peaceful and that He is going to bring us through to the other side—we are able to rest and enjoy God’s peace no matter how strong the storm around us!

Wherever you are, whatever you are facing, pray! Pray for the place that God is moving you to. Pray for the people who are a part of your difficult circumstances.

Live in such a way that God is honored and receives glory. The nonbeliever will watch a Christian closely as he goes through a fiery trial. By “blooming where you are planted,” you do more to share your faith by being a living testimony.

God has to have a people in this generation that say, “Though the mountains be shaken out of their place, though the seas overflow their borders, I will not be afraid. I will trust in God. My confidence is in God. God will not fail me; God will not forsake me; God will give me a testimony in the midst of my enemies.”

The Lord doesn’t want you to panic or run amok trying to figure a way out of your situation. Instead, He asks you to stand still and see the Lord fight this battle for you, stand still and see God provide for you, stand still and see God work out this trial for your good.

If Christ is in you, you will make it to the finish line. You will see that the light at the end of the tunnel is not a train but God Himself. You, my friend, will pass through your fiery trial and make it to the other side.
