Rebellion

DAY 2 OF 3

Characteristics of Rebellion

The spirit of rebellion has visited every organization, relationship, and society. Overtly, it uses someone with special authority, who has influence or followers, and is seeking validation.

A rebellious person seeks out other hurt and frustrated people; not to help, heal, or rebuild them, but as stepping stones and advocates. “Misery loves company,” and the foundation of pride that started the rebellion also has a foundation itself - bitterness, anger, confusion, or rejection. Absalom, David's son, is a great example of how not addressing the root cause leads to manipulation, rebellion, and ultimately death (spiritual or physical).

I managed a tech marketing agency that practices the 5-why analysis, which is a way to deep dive into the root cause. The objective is to ask “why” until the root is discovered. Rebellion has layers, and sometimes those layers are so deep you'll find yourself angry towards something but forgetting why you were angry to begin with.

You know that you're healed by the stripes of Jesus? The healing miracle can be applied to your heart too.

Day 1Day 3

About this Plan

Rebellion

Rebellion is a spirit whose purpose is to cause the believer to use their pride as a catalyst to hurt and mislead others. Pride births rebellion and rebellion miscarries purpose. This three day plan will help you identify the spirit of rebellion and how to use the power Christ has given you to have victory over rebellion.
