Free From Anger

DAY 3 OF 7

Does your heart need healing?

Have you ever had a serious cut? No matter your response, you definitely know that it’s important to thoroughly disinfect the wound to avoid infection.

We will all encounter situations that will anger us. Sometimes the circumstances are so intense that they cut like a knife. So we get disgruntled, frustrated. We brew over this anger. We indulge it. And as you know, what we feed eventually grows. In other words, if this anger is not addressed, it inevitably becomes infected.

Sometimes it can even erupt into violence...that’s why it’s so important to take care of the wounds and address the anger.

The Bible says, “For wrath kills a foolish man, and envy slays a simple one.” (Job 5:2) And I know you’re not foolish, my friend!

But if this is speaking to you, know that Christ is your hope! He died for you so that you could be truly free...including from anger.

If you’d like, pray with me…“Lord, I need You. Heal my heart from anger; purify my thoughts. Thank You for taking care of my life and my soul. Thank You for total healing! In Your name, amen.”

And if you’re a victim of the anger of others, you can also intercede for them. God can do a miracle!

Thanks for existing!

About this Plan

Free From Anger

Anger is a human emotion that God doesn’t condemn. The Lord understands that it can happen. You are a human being, not a superhero! So, anger in itself is not a sin. However, the Bible encourages us to not hold on to it…“‘Be angry, and do not sin’. This plan will teach you what the Bible says about anger and how you can deal with your anger.
