Jesus Exposes The Heart - Disciple Makers Series #13

DAY 3 OF 6

What makes our spiritual world tremble?

Thoughts on the message

Several things. First, some sickness is the result of demon oppression. This is one reason why we need to anoint sick people with oil and pray for them in Jesus’ name. This kind of sickness will be healed very quickly. Remove the demonic attack—people get well.

Second, when people say Jesus heals by using a bigger demon to remove them, Jesus exposes their foolishness. No ruler can stay powerful and have that kind of chaos in their ranks.

Third, Jesus heals by the power of God. These complaining people cannot do anything to heal these people. That is why they must come to Jesus. This is the only power available to remove demonic attacks—and it means God is present. That means His kingdom is here.

So we pray “Your kingdom come, Your will be done on earth as in heaven."

Time to Pray

Father, You have released so much authority to Your children. We can pray for Your kingdom to come in our situations. Where we face spiritual attack, we can have Your presence take charge and set us free. And we can release it in the lives of others as well. In fact, You ask me to pray that every day! So open my eyes today to the spiritual bondage around me. Give me a boldness to know how to release Your authority to bless hurting people. I do not want to just speak words, I need You to show up in the lives of hurting people. Then the demonic world trembles. Then Your kingdom comes to our world. So may “Your kingdom come” and touch my world today. In Jesus’ name I pray. Amen.
