NT 260: Part Fourნიმუში

First Timothy is written by Paul to a younger leader named Timothy. Paul has left Timothy in Ephesus to lead the church there. He is giving Timothy instructions on how to lead well. Paul is concerned because the people in the church of Ephesus are pursuing beliefs that are false or are of minor importance. He wants them to refocus on Jesus and the fact that He came to save people.
We have all experienced distractions. We start out the day planning to get something important done and find ourselves at the end of the day having been very busy, but not getting the job done. The job of Christians and the church is to stay true to Jesus’ message and bring people to Him. At the end of the day, how much of that has happened? Today would be a great day to refocus!
