The End In Mind 

THIS IS NOT MEANT TO BE DOOM AND GLOOM! However, it is intended to evoke thought and hopefully action us in relation to how we are living our lives for God. As Christians we know that we are not only natural beings, but we are spiritual beings and one day when our natural bodies’ batteries go out (AKA we die), we know that we’ll step into eternity (which is another word for a VERY VERY VERY VERY VERY LONG TIME). This shouldn’t freak us out, but inspire us to live a life where we make a difference, where we inspire people to become all God has called them to be, and to influence and impact all those around us. The words ‘well done good and faithful servant’ is something that we should aspire to be spoken about our lives, by those around us BUT most of all by God in Heaven. My question for you is, are you living life in such a way that you would be confident that those words would be spoken about you? If not, today is a great day to begin the journey to living a life that takes whatever God has put in your hands and using it to make a difference in this life.

Prayer: God, help us to live our lives in such a way that glorifies You and makes a difference on earth. We know that one day we will be face to face with You for eternity, so help us to understand that and live our lives in such a way that has eternity in mind. AMEN.
