Bildad: How Can Man Be Righteous?
1Then #Job 8:1; 18:1Bildad the Shuhite answered and said:
2“Dominion and fear belong to Him;
He makes peace in His high places.
3Is there any number to His armies?
Upon whom does #James 1:17His light not rise?
4#Job 4:17; 15:14; Ps. 130:3; 143:2How then can man be righteous before God?
Or how can he be #(Job 14:4)pure who is born of a woman?
5If even the moon does not shine,
And the stars are not pure in His #Job 15:15sight,
6How much less man, who is #Ps. 22:6a maggot,
And a son of man, who is a worm?”
