Crowder - Neon Steeple Devotionsサンプル
“Come As You Are” Devotional
Life is hard. It beats us up and leaves us bruised, scarred and bleeding. But there is One who can heal all of our wounds. He never promised that life on earth would be fair or easy, but He did promise to walk with us. And so He does. He offers to carry our heavy load of regret, bitterness, hurt and guilt and exchanges it for a life that’s filled with the glory of His peace and presence.
So, lay down your burdens/ Lay down your shame/ All who are broken/ Lift up your face/ Oh wanderer, come home/ You’re not too far/ So, lay down your hurt/ Lay down your heart/ Come as you are
In Psalm 55:22, David encourages us to bring all of our brokenness and all of our anxiety to Him: “Cast your cares on the Lord, and He will sustain you; He will never let the righteous be shaken.” (NIV)
Many of us carry around secrets so dark, pain so deep and shame so debilitating that we feel like even Jesus can’t fix what we’ve done. Friends, there is nothing He can’t redeem. No hurt too big, no relationship too far gone. When God looks at us, He doesn’t see our mistakes. He sees His son, pure and blameless. He not only heals us, He transforms us into something entirely new, shaping us into His likeness. He has the final word. Even death holds no power over Christ.
Come out of sadness from wherever you’ve been/ Come brokenhearted let rescue begin/ Come find your mercy/ Oh sinner, come kneel/ Earth has no sorrow that Heaven can’t heal
In the depths of life’s most brutal moments, He’s right there, counting every tear, holding every hurting heart. Psalm 34:18 says, “The Lord is close to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit.” (NIV)
Wherever you may find yourself on life’s winding road today, come find rest in His arms. They are strong. They are safe, and they are wide open...waiting for you.
