祈りを聞いてくださる神 | God Hears Our Prayers

約17年前、私は神が目の前で私の祈りに答えてくださるのを体験しました。 当時、私は地元の日本人教会を手伝っていました。その夜、丸一日仕事をして子供を寝かせた後の深夜に、古い Macintosh コンピューターを使って、週報の形式を 2 つ折りから 3 つ折りに変更する必要がありました。 多くの回避策を試したにもかかわらず、コンピューターは思うように動作しませんでした。 数時間かけても成果が得られず、とてもイライラして疲れ果てて、 モニターの前で泣きそうになりながら、神に向かって「助けて！！！」と叫びました。すると、 突然、目の前で瞬時にドキュメントの形式が正しく表示されました。 その瞬間、神が私の祈り/叫びを聞いてくださったことを知りました。 神は私たちの祈りを聞いてくださいます！

今日の聖句：エレミヤ書 29章12～14節

そのとき、あなたたちがわたしを呼び、来てわたしに祈り求めるなら、わたしは聞く。わたしを尋ね求めるならば見いだし、心を尽くしてわたしを求めるなら、わたしに出会うであろう、と主は言われる。

About 17 years ago, I experienced God answering my prayer right in front of me. I was helping a local Japanese church and needed to change the format of the bulletin from two-fold to three-fold format using my old Macintosh computer late one night after a full day of work and putting my kids down. The computer program wasn’t behaving, even after trying many workarounds. I was so frustrated and exhausted after spending several hours with no success. I screamed at God for “HELP!!!” out of desperation while looking at the monitor. All of a sudden, the document format changed in front of me to what it needed to be. At that moment, I knew that God had heard my prayer/scream. God hears our prayers.
