WEEK 6: FEARLESSLY SHARING YOUR FAITH THE WATER OF HIS WORD Read Genesis 1:26-28 and Genesis 3. “God made man in His own image” (Genesis 1:27). But sin then entered the world. What is the condition now? Read Ephesians 2:1-10. What do you learn from these verses? WALK ON TRUTH We were dead in sin! We once followed the prince of the power of the air, the Devil! Satan! We were once slaves to the spirit that is now at work in the sons of disobedience. We lived according to the lust of our flesh, carrying out our own desires. We were children of wrath. But God had mercy upon us. Pray, asking God to help you see as He sees. Ask the Lord to help you to truly believe this. Our minds are clouded by our sin. Our thinking is corrupt. It is so hard for us to see what God has done for us and therefore it is hard to share this with others! O Lord help us! Help us SEE! Help us share! FOCUS THE EYES OF YOUR HEART Read through the following focus verses for today. Hide them in your heart, meditate on them, and make them your prayer throughout the day. Genesis 1:27 - So God created mankind in his own image, in the image of God he created him; male and female he created them. Romans 5:12 - Sin entered the world through one man, and death through sin, and so death spread to all men because all sinned. 2 Corinthians 5:21 - For our sake he made him to be sin who knew no sin, so that in him we might become the righteousness of God. Galatians 2:20 - I have been crucified with Christ. It is no longer I who live, but Christ who lives in me. And the life I now live in the flesh I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave himself for me. 1 Peter 1:3-4 - Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ! According to his great mercy, he has caused us to be born again to a living hope through the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead, to an inheritance that is imperishable, undefiled, and unfading, kept in heaven for you.
