Mi liberò e mi condusse in campo aperto, e mi salvò perché mi vuole bene. Il Signore ha premiato la mia fedeltà, ha ricompensato la mia innocenza. Perché ho seguito le vie del Signore, non mi sono allontanato dal mio Dio. Ho sempre tenuto presenti le sue leggi, non ho mai ignorato i suoi decreti. Davanti a lui sono stato irreprensibile, sempre attento a non peccare. Il Signore ha premiato la mia fedeltà, la mia innocenza di fronte a lui. Con chi è fedele, tu sei fedele e con l’uomo retto anche tu sei retto. Con chi è puro, tu sei puro, ma con i malvagi sai essere astuto.
