His Name Is....

DAY 10 OF 27

READ: Gen 1:1 ; Psalm 90:2 John 1:1

SOAP: Psalm 90:2

Before the mountains were brought forth,

or ever you had formed the earth and the world,

from everlasting to everlasting you are God.

Before our planet became Earth, it did not resemble Earth at all. But Jesus was already God. Before God separated light from darkness, our planet was “formless and empty (Gen. 1:2).” But Jesus was already with God. Before the stars and science and scientists to debate and demonstrate how they cannot grasp a God that creates, God had already created all. And Jesus was there all along.

From everlasting to everlasting our God is a God of love. He created our world and everything in it, especially us, out of His love. He knows every galaxy in the world as He knows every hair on your head and He holds them all in His hand.

Heavenly Father, thank you for revealing Yourself to us in nature. We see Your majesty in the soaring heights of rock-solid mountains, Your tender mercy in the delicate petals of flowers blanketing the prairies, and Your everlasting depths of life-giving water connecting us all. We know Jesus is not apart from You, He is not even a part of You, He is You. And He was with You in the Creation of everything we know and everything we don’t and He will be with You everlasting.

About this Plan

His Name Is....

Therefore God exalted Him to the highest place and gave Him the name that is above every name....Philippians 2:9  When it comes to God, one name just isn't adequate enough to tell of His great character and mighty power. One name simply cannot contain our Savior. Through studying the names of God, we get to know our Savior more fully and spend time adoring Him for who He is.
