MarginSýnishorn
When it comes to living a life of margin, there’s no better example than Jesus. He lived a life of purpose. Jesus was focused on one thing and didn’t let anything distract Him from carrying out His purpose, which was to save mankind from sin. Jesus never let anything distract Him from His purpose and was very busy accomplishing it. But no matter how busy Jesus was, He always took time out to rest.
Jesus also created margin by tapping into the resources around Him like His disciples. He multiplied Himself through others. Jesus understood that if He was going to have the physical, spiritual, and emotional energy to meet the needs of others, He was going to have to create margin by taking time away to be with His Father so He could be strengthened. As you read today’s passages, learn from Jesus’ example of creating margin and then ask yourself: Where do I need to create margin in my life?

About this Plan
Sometimes it seems like the only way to keep up with all the demands on our lives is to run at maximum capacity—and then some. But there is another way, one where we have room to breathe and space to respond to what God brings our way. This reading plan features a variety of devotional readings, video teaching from Craig Groeschel, and videos of everyday people living with margin in their lives.
