Unshakeable & Unbothered: Standing Strong as a Young Woman in Ministry

DAY 1 OF 6

Embracing Your Youth and Leadership in Ministry

Let’s be real—being a young woman in ministry is not for the faint of heart. You’re out here, full of fire, passion, and the Holy Spirit, ready to set the world ablaze for Jesus. But sometimes, that fire gets doused by others who aren’t ready to embrace your leadership simply because of your age. It’s like they see you, and all they see is how young you are, not the anointing that’s all over you!

But let me tell you something—God saw you fit for this role, no matter how young you are. Timothy was young too, yet Paul encouraged him to lead with confidence. It’s easy to get discouraged when people question your calling, but you’ve got to remember that God doesn’t call the qualified; He qualifies the called. Your youth is not a liability; it’s a gift.

Dig deeper into the lives of young leaders in the Bible. Look at how Josiah became king at eight years old (2 Kings 22) and how God used him to bring about significant reform in Israel. Reflect on how God prepared him and others like him, not despite their age but because of their willingness to obey and follow Him wholeheartedly. Take some time to journal how you can lead by example, even when others might not see your potential yet.
