Bible in 90 Days (B90)Sýnishorn
Day 31 • Summary • 2 Chronicles 2–17
Solomon supervises the construction of a magnificent Temple and leads an impressive dedication ceremony for it. The queen of Sheba’s visit confirms the extraordinary splendor of Solomon’s reign and his kingdom. Unfortunately, his son, Rehoboam, begins his reign by insulting a delegation and splitting the kingdom along tribal lines. The continuing historical narrative emphasizes the “good” kings who model their reigns after that of David.
