Acts 4:1-31 | Unashamed

DAY 4 OF 5

There’s a power God offers that makes even the most unschooled, ordinary person the most powerful witness for God. Peter was an ordinary fisherman. He healed a crippled man and 5000 came to faith.

Never underestimate what God might do through you. You might be unschooled. You might have a past. You might be unsure of yourself and timid. You might feel like you have nothing to offer.

You might be right. But God works through the least of these. He did it through Peter. He can do it through you.

Put yourself out there. Trust God. See what he does. Simply witness to what you know about Jesus and have seen him do. God will work through that. He may just surprise you!

About this Plan

Acts 4:1-31 | Unashamed

Acts shows us the boldness of those first believers in the face of threat. It shows their pride in identifying with Jesus. It shows them unashamed. This 5-day plan continues a journey through the book of Acts, the Bible’s gripping sequel of Jesus at work in the life of his followers as he expands his kingdom to the ends of the earth. It’s a journey on what it means to be a Christian. It’s a story in which you have a role to play.
