When God Hides.

DAY 3 OF 3

Dreams Formed in Darkness

Just as a baby is formed in darkness, so too is God forming great things within you. No one sees them; they are things no one can imagine; people may make guesses, but they may not be accurate about what the baby is like. All the details of a human being, their personality, their temperament, their skeleton, and the shape of their face, were all formed by the same God. He marked our lives, while no one can intervene in what He does, and He does all this in darkness.

If God does things in the darkness, where no one can understand and where He hides from humanity what He is doing, why do we want to tell everyone our plans? Sometimes God wants us to ignore how His plan is unfolding, not to torture us, but so that we can marvel at the day of childbirth.

There are days that are dark, and there God is, completing a work we cannot see, performing a creative miracle in the darkness. It feels strange because a life is growing within you that had not been there before, and it is only as it grows that your womb expands.

In the same way, it is only when what God is doing grows, that your heart expands. Your heart will not expand unless there is a reason. That dream that God has for you is bringing about expansion. And the changes within you are evident. Expansion causes pain; it feels like a stretching of your skin, and all the organs must adjust.

It's the same with your dream; it may bring some changes, some pain, some discomfort, but that dream is already growing; the miracle is already on its way. It's not visible. It's formed in darkness. You can't assume how it will happen because it will simply be a surprise when it comes out of you.

You only know that on the day of childbirth, you will see what has already been formed in the darkness.

About this Plan

When God Hides.

For those who yearn for clarity, who seek a ray of light amidst their circumstances, who do not understand the reason for the darkness, for those whom God is shaping in the darkness, saying to them, "There is still hope." God is here too.
