True RepentanceSýnishorn
A new creation
The handwriting that witnessed against you is nailed to the cross, and that’s why there is no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus anymore. Thanks to Jesus’ sacrifice, you can be born again.
When you become born again, your old, sinful nature is taken out of you, banned, destroyed, and God’s Spirit places a new nature in you. He creates in you a new inner man.
2 Corinthians 5:17
“Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; old things have passed away; behold, all things have become new.”
You become something you never were before. Your reborn man, your new nature, is identical to the nature of Jesus.
And this makes it possible for God’s Spirit to now live inside of you.
You literally become a ‘temple’ of the Holy Spirit (1 Corinthians 6:19). The Holy Spirit can now always be in you (John 14:17).
You can now see the Kingdom of God, and you can enter it (John 3:5) because you are born again.
All of Jesus’ righteousness, holiness, and purity are placed on you. You are clothed with this in the spirit (Ephesians 4:24).
You were darkness, now you are light.
You were lost, now you are found.
You were dead, now you are alive.
You were a slave, but now you are a son.
You were blind, but now you can see!
That is the Good News. Hallelujah!

About this Plan
Everyone has the possibility to be a child of God. What precedes that is a choice to accept Jesus as Lord and Savior and to repent. But what does repenting really mean? And what happens to you spiritually as a result? You will discover this in this Bible plan.
