31 Days to Full

DAY 25 OF 31

Often there are minimum qualifications to be eligible for something. We move through life understanding the meaning and value of eligibility and qualifications. You have to be a certain height to ride a roller coaster. You have to be a certain age to rent a car. You have to have a certain level of education to be hired for a job. I’m sure you can think of a few other common instances.

And if you make it more personal, you can likely think of at least one time where you weren’t welcome somewhere because you didn’t meet the minimum qualifications. Or perhaps you weren’t considered for something because you weren’t qualified.

Sometimes we show up in our service for God discounting ourselves because we feel like we don’t qualify for God to fill us. We think we are empty because we’ve done something that makes us unqualified for God to pour back into our cups. Let me tell you, that couldn’t be further from the truth.

Joel 2 is proof that what I said above is true. You meet the eligibility requirements. Congratulations. You are qualified. Now, let’s journal out how that makes you feel. Set your timer.
