Easter Sunday - The Good News
The women at the tomb and the guards all saw the same thing.
Mary Magdalene, Mary, and the guards posted to watch the tomb, all witnessed the sudden, supernatural appearance of an angel and saw the empty grave… but where the women believed, the guards were deceived. They allowed fear and pride to prevent them from seeing the truth: that Jesus was who He said He was, and He did what He said He would do.
Where the guards spread the lie they were paid to tell, the women were filled with joy and went immediately to spread the truth.
In a world full of deception and lies, fear and pride, choose this Easter to respond to the resurrection of Jesus as the women did. With joy and anticipation of what is to come.
Share your story with the people in your sphere of influence, tell them you believe the truth. Jesus was born to die so we can receive forgiveness, fulfill our purpose here on earth, and return to our heavenly home to live for eternity in His presence.
This is the Good News! This is why we choose to believe!
