Be Intentional: The Gift of Time

DAY 1 OF 5

One of the meanings of the Hebrew word used for number in this scripture is to assign. To assign is to designate something for a specific purpose. So, teaching you to designate or allocate your days for specific purposes is an invitation to reflect on the brevity of your time on this earth and to recognize the fleeting nature of each passing moment.

In a world filled with hustle and bustle, you lose sight of the precious gift of time. Prioritize your time daily and appreciate the profound significance of each moment. To "number our days" is not a call to mere enumeration but to manage your time well. It is an acknowledgment that time is a limited resource, a reminder that how you spend your days matters.

God gave you a gift called time, and what you do with your time, is your gift back to God. If you are going to honor God each day with your time, you must partner with Him. How do you partner with God? By seeking Him for wisdom regarding the direction of your days. The wisdom of God is a compass that directs your steps, enabling you to navigate the complexities of life with grace and discernment. It invites you to be intentional in your choices, and mindful of how those choices impact the world around you.

Think It Over!

How are you managing your time? Are you appreciating the gift that God has given you, or are you squandering the gift as the prodigal son did? Evaluate how you spend your days and make the necessary adjustments for a productive and purposeful life.

Prayer

Heavenly Father,

Teach me to number my days with wisdom. Open my heart to the profound significance of each moment so that I may discover the beauty of living intentionally. May your wisdom be my guide, and may my days be a testament to the grace and purpose you've woven into my existence. In Jesus' name, Amen.

About this Plan

Be Intentional: The Gift of Time

When we appreciate a gift, we take care of it. Steward your gift of time well. Time, the silent force that governs every moment, is the most valuable resource we possess. It is an intangible currency, relentless and impartial, ticking away without pause. Each passing second is an opportunity, a chance to live the purpose God created us for and leave a lasting impact on the world.
