Rejoice in God through Christ

Daily Thought:

In Romans 5, Paul acknowledges three essential things: 1) God’s compassion for the sinner, 2) Christ’s work on the cross to save his people, and 3) the beautiful restoration of the relationship between God and his family. These components all work together to reveal the incredible reality of the implications of Jesus—certainly a reason to rejoice!

Romans 5:10-11, ESV

For if while we were enemies we were reconciled to God by the death of his Son, much more, now that we are reconciled, shall we be saved by his life. More than that, we also rejoice in God through our Lord Jesus Christ, through whom we have now received reconciliation.

Prayer Point:

Today, acknowledge the impacts of Christ’s life and work on your life and those around you. Worship him today as your savior, atoner, and restorer.
