DAY 6 OF 22

PRAYING OVER FINANCES

God cares about us, and He wants to be involved in every area of our lives, including our finances. Proverbs 3 tells us if we will acknowledge Him in all His ways, that He will direct our paths. Then, we are told to honor Him with our finances and that He will pour out a blessing. God wants to be a part of blessing us, bringing finances in and through us. God wants to be a part of how our finances are used, not just where they come from. God partners with people to see His kingdom come, and His will be done. Can God use what He has given us to bring His kingdom to those around us?

God, we submit our finances to You and ask You to use them and to bless them. We thank You, and You are more than enough! You said You would supply our needs according to Your riches. God, we ask that You would have Your way in our finances, the finances of the church, and the finances of fellow believers. We pray for divine guidance, wisdom, and ideas to be a blessing and bring in finances. Here are some ways to pray today:

  • Pray for God’s guidance in your finances. (Proverbs 3:5-10)
  • Pray for God’s blessing in your finances. (Deuteronomy 28:8)
  • Pray for God’s wisdom and strength to bring in finances. (Deuteronomy 8:18)
  • Pray for God to use what He has given you to further His kingdom on the earth. (Matthew 10:42; 3 John 1:8)
  • Pray for God’s provision, which is more than enough for every need. (Phil. 4:19)

About this Plan

Pray First: Seek • Pray • Unite

We are taking 21 days to seek God first. Prayer is powerful! Prayer is a way that we can partner with God to see His kingdom come and His will be done. When we pray together, it draws us closer to God, bringing not only results but unity as we seek Him together.
