21 Days: Revive Us AgainSýnishorn
DAY 15: REVIVAL IS NOT JUST FOR YOU
Reflection:
When we take a cup and continuously pour water into it, it starts to overflow. This is obvious, right? Similarly, life will begin to overflow from us as we allow God to revive us and continuously pour into us. As John 7:38 says, “For all who believe, out of his heart will flow rivers of living water.”
Rivers are a symbol of life. On this earth, trees grow, and animals live where rivers flow. Ezekiel 47:7-12 gives us a picture of abundant life resulting from contact with living waters. When we experience revival, God’s living waters will brim and spill out of the depths of our hearts, and everything we come into contact with will live and flourish. There will be abundance, there will be growth, and there will be healing.
More than that, when God sparks revival in us, it is not just for our sake. People around us will also experience the power and reality of God as we choose to release the overflow in our lives. In other words, those in our spheres of influence should experience and witness the significance, impact, and transformation that our revived lives bring.
Response:
Recognise that God has poured out His Spirit on you, and there is an overflow needing to be released to those around you. Take some time today to picture how this overflow could impact your family, workplace, schools, and various spheres of influence.
Ask God to help you release the overflow of His living waters from your life. As you picture the impact of this overflow in the people around you, declare and speak it into existence!

About this Plan
Revival. We may have sung it. Prayed for it. Declared it. Most times, revivals are invisible, gradual, and start up quietly in the place that matters the most – in our hearts.
