The Fatherhood of GodSýnishorn
MY FATHER IS ALWAYS GOOD
God is full of compassion, grace, love, and mercy. Quite literally, there is no room for hatred in Him. Psalm 86:15.
The nature of our Father is constant - He is always good.
The enemy wants you to live with a blurred /distorted image of the Father. Through negative experiences or incorrectly interpreted scriptures, he seeks to portray God as a Father with occasional fits of violence or underlying anger issues.
One such misrepresentation was the account of Saul's servants in the Bible, where it is recorded that an “evil spirit from God” tormented Saul (1 Samuel 16:15). Because they typically attributed every supernatural occurrence as a doing of the Lord without a proper understanding of the actions of the devil, Saul’s servants assumed it was God who had indeed dispatched an evil spirit to torment Saul.
There is no evil in God.
When we look at Jesus - the express image of God - we see how good our Father is and His true nature.
Everywhere Jesus went, He did good. He healed the sick and cast out demons.
Jesus is the good shepherd whose faithfulness is not predicated on our behavior. It is His nature to be faithful.
We only need to read the Scriptures through the lens of Christ to see God’s plan and fulfillment of salvation right from the beginning to end.
Beloved, no matter your story, God your Father loves you and will bring a beautiful message from whatever “mess” you seem to be going through. He will bring glory from your story because He is in the business of always doing good.
Your Father is always good!
