30 Day Prayer Challenge for Your HusbandSýnishorn
“Do not merely listen to the word, and so deceive yourselves. Do what it says.”
Dear Lord,
I thank You for the access we have to Your Word. Thank You that Your Word is a lamp to our feet and that it lights our paths. Thank You for connecting us to a Word-based church (if you haven't found one yet, continue to seek God to lead you in that direction) that teaches the truth of Your Word and challenges us to be better every day. I pray that my husband would embody the Word. I pray that You would assist him in grasping the importance of not merely listening to the Word, but doing what it says. Block any deceptive tactics the enemy has established to make him believe anything other than the importance of living out the Word in his everyday life. Empower him to walk out the Word with fear and reverence for You. Strengthen him where he is weak. Remind him that he doesn’t have to walk alone.
In the Name of Jesus, I pray, Amen.
Challenge: If you don't already have a church home, sometime today use the web to research an effective Bible-based church. Ask friends, co-workers, or family members. The Word says, “And let us consider how to stir up one another to love and good works, not neglecting to meet together, as is the habit of some, but encouraging one another, and all the more as you see the Day drawing near.” - Hebrews 10:24-25
