He Cheated.
Devotional Day 3:
In every drought, there is a day of rain. At the end of every miserable summer, there is cold weather. Through every battle, there is a victory. The Lord is taking you through something so He can prepare you for something. The Lord knows your pain, and He knows you're hurt; He is telling you to lean into Him and get ready for your season of rejoicing. Whatever the outcome is wether it be reconciliation, renewal or release; trust in the process and learn to forgive! The dark days will stay dark if our heart is hard and darkened with rage. As Christians, even through adversity, our job is to shine in the midst of the storm.
There are dark days, but they will soon turn bright. The Bible consistently demonstrates these stories as Moses led the people through slavery and into the promised land. Sara overcame doubt and gave birth at 90 years old; Judas gave up Jesus for money and repented; and Job’s steadfastness carried him through adversities. Jesus always wins. Whatever your path may look like in the days ahead, remember that no weapon formed against you shall prosper, no action of man defines your worth, no sin is too great for God, and you are a woman of dignity! Your life is worth living and continuing, and YOU CAN! You were made for such a time as this!
The betrayal, the pain, the trauma; He hasn't left you. Your life is still a beautiful piece of artwork, and the mess you are in just adds character to your story. It does not make you less, it does not take away from the beauty God is doing; it is just a journey you must travel toward your destination. Do not give up hope because your hope does not come from man; your hope comes from Jesus.
