DAY 1 OF 7

Day 1: Gratitude for the Calling

Opening Prayer:

Heavenly Father, I come before you today with a grateful heart. I acknowledge that the roles of school staff, administrators, and teachers are more than just jobs; they are callings. Thank you for entrusting me with the important task of shaping young minds and nurturing their growth. Help me to approach each day with a sense of purpose and gratitude. In Jesus' name, I pray. Amen.

Reflection:

Take a moment to reflect on the reasons why you chose this profession. Consider the impact you can have on the lives of students and the opportunities you have to make a difference in their educational journey not only today, but for the rest of their lives. If God has called you, then He will equip you for the work you get to do. Education can be one of the most challenging and rewarding lines of work there is. You have the opportunity to guide young minds towards understanding the world around them through your approach to each new day. Acknowledge the unique skills and gifts that God has given you for this calling to create curious children that will grow into the leaders of tomorrow! As an educator, you have taken on the responsibility to point your students towards knowledge that will help society grow towards a stronger future. If you can shape your mindset to be one of serving God in all of your giftings, you can begin to see beyond today and into the ways that your interactions now will encourage others to grow and be inspired to do the same. God has given you this heart for education; lean in and trust Him as you face each new moment.

Prayer Focus:

Pray for a renewed sense of purpose and passion in your role at your particular school. Ask God to help you see your work as a ministry and to guide you in serving with love, patience, and excellence in all that you do. Pray for God to work in and through you as you set the tone for the new school year.
