With All Your HeartSýnishorn
Seek. Set. Search.
“And ye shall seek me, and find me, when ye shall search for me with all your heart.” Jeremiah 29:13 KJV
Search for Christ with all of your heart. Seek Him and let Christ into every area of your life. Let Christ cover every aspect of your life. Seek Him before you seek that next position. Seek Him before you seek that next role. Seek Him before you seek the things of this world. Set your heart on the things of God.
According to Strong’s Concordance, the Hebrew word for “Seek” used in Jeremiah 29:13 KJV is, ‘bāqaš’ (H1245) which means, “to seek to find, to seek to secure, to seek the face, to desire, demand, to require, exact, to ask, request.” Seek Christ and find your hope in Him. Secure your future in Him. Set your desire upon Christ. Set your heart on Christ.
The Amplified Version expounds upon Jeremiah 29:13 AMPC in the following manner, “Then you will seek Me, inquire for, and require Me [as a vital necessity] and find Me when you search for Me with all your heart.” Seek Him as a vital necessity. Seek Christ with all of your heart.
The New International Version puts it this way, “You will seek me and find me when you seek me with all your heart.” Jeremiah 29:13 NIV. Seek Him with all of your heart. “When you come looking for me, you’ll find me. “Yes, when you get serious about finding me and want it more than anything else, I’ll make sure you won’t be disappointed.” Jeremiah 29:13 MSG.
Search for Christ. Look for Him more than the things of this world. Seek Him with all of your heart. Choose to treasure Christ.
