When God Says Move a 4-Day Plan by Donna PryorSýnishorn
God’s Word
False evidence appearing real is a popular way to define the word fear. The enemy will often use fear to keep you stuck right where you are when you are about to do something you have never done before. Fear of the unknown, fear of failure, and fear of rejection are just a few of his tricks.
The enemy will show you all kinds of false evidence to steal, kill, and destroy the destiny God has for you. “Be strong and of good courage….” God tells Joshua in verse 6 of chapter 1 and three more times throughout the chapter. He repeats this several times because He knows the enemy will try to distract Joshua so that he doesn’t move when God tells him to move.
In verses 7 and 8, God tells Joshua how to be strong and of good courage – by following His word. He tells Joshua to speak and meditate on His word day and night. Not only that, but also to do according to what is written in His word. If you do these things – meditate, speak, and do – not only will you be able to stand and be of good courage against false evidence appearing real, but your way will also be prosperous. This means your journey will be easier, and in the end, you will find success.
What false evidence appearing real is the enemy using to keep you stuck?
