Your Prayer Room Is a Womb for Miracles

DAY 1 OF 3

Prepare the Room

I love the ability to worship God through prayer. I remember not being as intentional with prayer as I am today. I saw prayer as a routine task with limited power. I didn’t have a sacred space to prepare my heart and mind to experience the fullness of God’s presence. But years ago, I leaned into God and His word and tapped into the importance of creating a separate space that limited the distractions and was inviting to God. Honestly, it made me check the motive of my prayer life.

Mark 1:35 says, "Very early in the morning, while it was still dark, Jesus got up, left the house, and went off to a solitary place, where He prayed." God’s word provides instruction for us.

The beauty of God’s love is making room to experience it. When we quiet our hearts and steal away to find rest in Him, He shows Himself to us.

Practical application - How to make room for God.

1. Set aside a room or space.

2. Include a Bible, worship music, inspirational quotes, and a journal.

3. Add a candle, blanket, and sticky notes.

Pray this prayer:

Father, thank you for the opportunity to worship you through my prayers. I will slow down to enter your throne room. Remove any distractions limiting my ability to see you. Open my heart to the Holy Spirit as I set aside time to spend with you. I will no longer be anxious about anything, but in everything, by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving, my prayers will be made known to you. Strengthen me through your power. In Jesus’ name. Amen

About this Plan

Your Prayer Room Is a Womb for Miracles

Mark 16:17 says that believers will be given the power to perform miracles: they will drive out demons in my name; they will speak in strange tongues. Prayer provokes an event that's not explainable by nature. Miracles are God’s mysteries open to His children. Dive into this plan over the next three days to explore how your prayer room incubates miracles.
