Impact and Influence

DAY 10 OF 21

Own Your Grace

Jesus didn’t just give you grace. He gave you a special one. This grace is like a glove that can only fit you. It’s both unique and exclusive. You are one of one in every single way—your skill-set, your prowess, your intelligence, the wiring of your heart.

There are no two people walking the earth with the same measure of grace. You were made divinely with no duplicates. Why is this important for you to know? It’s important for two reasons. The first reason is, you need to allow the truth that you are one of a kind, to find a home inside of your heart. When this truth is hidden in your heart, it shows up in your confidence; it gives you a holy boldness. The second reason is, the mere fact that no one else has your grace is evidence that, not only are you special, but you are also necessary. You were born to make a contribution to the world that no one else can. Sit in that truth today.

Just think about it. If you were apportioned a particular gift, ability, and/or talent, by God himself, that must mean that you are needed. It means that you are significant to the plans that He has orchestrated for the earth and Kingdom of God at large. In case you haven’t already figured it out, you are essential to every room that your gift brings you into, every table that you sit at, every team that you join.

Before you ever showed up, God knew what you would need to be effective and of value, and He equipped you with just that. There is no need for you to search for a sense of value or worth; you were created with it. The only thing you have to do is look within and own your grace.

Prayer: Dear God, please show me how to not only own the grace you've given me, but also how to trust it. In Jesus’ name. Amen.
