Walk Through The Bible 365 - DecemberSýnishorn
Sow & Reap
We may be do-gooders without knowing what good we are doing. Ask: "What am I sowing?" If it yields no eternal value, then we should stop toiling for it. Not only will our greatest efforts be for nothing, but worse, such striving may bring a whirlwind that damages our best intentions.
Prayer: Lord, thank you for reminding me that I need to examine what I am doing, and that when my work is not done in line with your will, our activities are all in vain. In Jesus’ Name, Amen.
