Walk Through The Bible 365 - DecemberSýnishorn
Praise … Again … And Again
In this short psalm the words "Hallelu Yah!" (praise the Lord) are repeated ten times. The psalmist is making his point loud and clear. Just do it: Praise the Lord! But why do we need telling? Shouldn’t praise come easy? The problem is that in order to praise the Lord we have to deduct the pride, ambition, self-centeredness that we are so attached to. Maybe we really do need the reminder.
Prayer: Father God, I praise your holy name today. You are great; your wisdom is beyond the stars; your love beyond comprehension. Your power has no equal. Hallelujah ... hallelujah ... hallelujah. Take away whatever stands between me and praise today. Make this day a day of PRAISE! In Jesus’ Name, Amen!
