CHANGED! And Changing Still..

DAY 23 OF 31

Don’t Stay Here

Key Thought

There is nothing wrong with staying where you are. But, if God tells you to move from where you are, there's nothing stopping you from moving to where God wants you to be. You don't have to stay where you are. You have permission to change.

We often stay stuck in our ways because we wonder where else we could go. Or sometimes, we are waiting for clear direction on where to go. Changing friends that are bad for you could be the best thing for you. These are not the easiest changes but they are great changes.

Feeling like God is leading you to change but not being sure about the direction of the journey can be hard. This happened to Abraham in the bible. God told Abraham to leave his family and friends and go to a place that God would show him. The point being, God will show you if you start going.

The main thing to remember is, God might ask you to move or change, and He might not give you all the details, but He promises to be with you on the journey.

The most comforting part of any journey is knowing the people who are doing it with you. The best news of all is that God promises to be with you. God says He will see your journey through to the end.

There is so much more to discover about God and people and life. Don't be afraid to take your next steps. Embrace the future God has for you with both hands.

Time To Think

Is God ok where I am situated with my life?
Do I need to change anything with friends, behaviour, goals or dreams etc?

Prayer

Father, I thank you that You have a plan for my life. You see where I should be going and where You want me to be. Help me have the courage to move from where I am in any area of my life. Help me not get stuck in my thinking, my conversations and my contribution to people around me. Thank you for leading me. Amen.

About this Plan

CHANGED! And Changing Still..

When we surrender to Jesus He changes us in a moment but we are still being changed everyday to become more like Him. This devotion deals with the everyday, ordinary changes that we all face in becoming more Christ-like. We are changed and changing still.
