HELP!: A 10-Day Devotional by Brandon LakeSýnishorn
Gratitude. Gratitude is such a sweet way to bookend your day. Gratitude for what God is doing in you, what He’s done in you already, and what you believe He will one day do. At the end of an album filled with so much feeling, so much intimacy, so much declaration, and so much freedom, I thought ending with “Thank You” felt right. The sweetness of the lyrics reminded me of my children—which in turn reflects our relationship with our Father in heaven.
God is so quick to take care of His children (Matthew 15:26), but we can so often disbelieve that what He has for us is good. We can find ourselves doubting Him as Jehovah-Jireh, our provider. We may doubt He is kind, caring, and will meet us right where we’re at. We might doubt that He wants to deliver us from our darkness. But our portion is healing. Our portion is provision. Our portion is an intimate relationship with Him. Life is hard, yes. There are ups and downs, mountaintops, and valley lows. But through it all, He is a good Father who knows our every need—and He is worthy of praise.
I encourage you to carve out time today to truly thank the Lord for what He’s doing in your life. Sing out, “Thank you, Lord. Thank you, thank you.” Gratitude works from the inside out, and you’ll see its fruit in all areas of your life.

About this Plan
Thanks for joining me on this 10-day devotional, which shares the freedom, truth, and intimacy found only in God. This plan is based on the songs from my recent album, HELP!, which I wrote out of a place of anxiety while desperately searching for freedom. I pray these words and songs draw you closer to God and that you, too, begin to see the light. Goodbye fear, hello hope.
