Seven Facets of Salvation

DAY 3 OF 7

Salvation is Implemented by Uniting us With Christ.

The ONLY way.

Ephesians 2:6-7, “And God raised us up with Christ and seated us with him in the heavenly realms in Christ Jesus, in order that in the coming ages he might show the incomparable riches of his grace, expressed in his kindness to us in Christ Jesus.”

This is absolutely amazing! We mere, created human beings are united with Jesus Christ Himself. These scriptures demonstrate that we are IN Him! Romans 6:23, "For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord." We’re now in Christ, and in Christ forever!

Romans 8:1, “Therefore, there is now no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus.” We are now under no condemnation, regardless of all the accusations of the enemy of our souls. God never condemns us anyway; He convicts us of sin through the power of the Holy Spirit, and that conviction is always intended to lead us to repentance and life. Only the enemy who hates us condemns, and his condemnation is hollow and empty because he has no authority over us. We are in Christ!

1 Corinthians 1:30, "It is because of him that you are in Christ Jesus, who has become for us wisdom from God—that is, our righteousness, holiness, and redemption." Everything we long for in life, is ours through being in Christ.

2 Corinthians 5:17, "Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, the new creation has come: The old has gone, the new is here!" We are not just renovated and improved – we are completely new creations!

Jesus Christ now lives in us, and as we allow Him His rightful place as master of our lives, we increasingly reflect His beauty!

Galatians 2:20, "I have been crucified with Christ and I no longer live, but Christ lives in me. The life I now live in the body, I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave himself for me."

Colossians 1:27, "God has chosen to make known among the Gentiles the glorious riches of this mystery, which is Christ in you, the hope of glory."

Colossians 3:3, "For you died, and your life is now hidden with Christ in God."

2 Corinthians 3:18, “And we all, who with unveiled faces contemplate the Lord’s glory, are being transformed into his image with ever-increasing glory, which comes from the Lord, who is the Spirit.”

Reflection: God, who created all things, shares His glory with us as we draw close to Jesus. We don’t have to produce the strength to change ourselves. God, Himself, provides everything we need to become children of His Kingdom. One thing we need to do...admit we are sinners and believe that the sacrifice of Christ satisfied the punishment for our sin. Walk with Him, learn from Him, grow, and be blessed by Him.

There is only ONE way. Don’t wait another day.
