Moses: The Lessons I Can LearnSýnishorn
God will open the heavens above you!
"'The Lord will open to you His good treasure, the heavens, to give the rain to your land in its season, and to bless all the work of your hand. You shall lend to many nations, but you shall not borrow.'" (Deuteronomy 28:12, NKJV)
God's promise to the Israelites as they obey Him sounds amazing! This is also a promise He wants to make to you, for your obedience—because His Word is for all time! (see Exodus 3:14-15, NKJV) I can already hear those quiet doubts you may be having: "Deborah, I don't see that in my life," or "What kind of teaching is that? Not all of us can or should be prosperous!" I'm only telling you what the Bible says: God will unlock His treasure to you—heaven! This verse doesn't speak of material wealth but rather the blessings that rain down when we trust God to do the impossible!
How do we imagine heaven? Yes, there definitely will be more than enough of everything we need there, and there's no lack of beauty there either (see Revelation 22:1-3, NIV). However, we don't have to wait because there's one precious gift that God wants to give us from His heavenly treasury today: His light!
"There will be no more night. They will not need the light of a lamp or the light of the sun, for the Lord God will give them light…" (Revelation 22:5, NIV)
You may ask, "What does this light of God look like on Earth? And how can I live in this light and benefit from it today?" God has already given us an answer to these questions in the Psalms! "Your word is a lamp to my feet and a light to my path." (Psalm 119:105, NKJV)
Do you hear that today? His Word is the answer! God's Word is what we need to receive here on Earth, a part of the blessing from His treasury that He wants to give you today. The truth of His Word is the Light we need to guide us! Through His Word, God wants to show every person, including you personally, how to draw from this wealth of peace; joy; truth; love; contentment; hope; and, yes, miracles as well. :-)
Begin to believe that God wants the best for you, and dive into His Word to see the light for your path. He wants to give you even more from His treasury today!
You are a miracle!

About this Plan
This week, let's explore Moses' life together. What drove him? What made him doubt? Trust? Where did he need to persevere because circumstances were against him? What does it take to experience miracles as Moses did? And, most importantly, what can we learn today from Moses visible trust in the invisible God?
