Love God Greatly: God With Us

DAY 24 OF 26

SOAP – Luke 2:13-14 & Hebrews 1:6
Everything which God has created is for His divine glory. The angels were created as messengers of God and to worship Him. As a reward, they behold the face of God daily. They do not merely believe in God, nor do they merely know about God. They behold Him face to face. Their response to their encounter with God is continuous praise and worship. Worship is a time when the Holy Spirit within a believer aligns with the heart of God. Worship is critical because it brings us intimacy with God and helps us to withstand trials and problems.

How are you glorifying God with your words, your behavior, your attitude, and your actions? Worship is the time believers forget about ourselves, concentrate on Christ, and experience His presence. A believer’s response to an encounter with God will be worship and praise.

Father God, I thank You for the intimate connection with You. Stretch and increase my quiet time so that I am able to communicate with You. Lord, teach me how to magnify, exalt, and love You more, not just in words, but in my attitude and actions as well. In Jesus’ name. Amen.

About this Plan

Love God Greatly: God With Us

In this 4-week Advent Study, we will look at some of the Old Testament promises of the Savior and the humility that would characterize Him. We will study why He came and the response of various people in the Christmas story, including how we too should respond to Jesus and His coming. You can purchase the book on Amazon: God With Us by Love God Greatly. Please note: The study is designed to break on the weekends. You will have two days each week without content.
