Love God Greatly: God With Us

DAY 15 OF 26

SOAP – Galatians 4:4-5
Paul describes how God sent His Son, fully God and fully man, at the precise time to free people from the bondage of sin. All believers in Jesus receive the Holy Spirit who confirms our adoption as God’s child. We become part of God’s family when we hear the gospel, confess our sins, and place our faith and trust in Jesus Christ. At that moment we are born into God’s kingdom as His children and become heirs with Him for eternity.

In what situation are you struggling to accept that you are God’s child? How might you be trying to earn or work for a relationship with the Lord? Being a part of the family of God is the greatest blessing bestowed upon believers and one that should drive us to our knees in humble adoration.

Father God, You pour Your love out into my life in ways that I can’t comprehend. Lord, my mind has difficulty accepting the fact that You love me as Your daughter. Help me to trust Your promises regardless of my feelings. Lord, help me to accept and receive the unconditional love that pours out into my life. Lord, empower me to run to You when I sin or struggle without fear or hesitation. I thank You that Your love never fails even when I do. In Jesus’ name. Amen.

About this Plan

Love God Greatly: God With Us

In this 4-week Advent Study, we will look at some of the Old Testament promises of the Savior and the humility that would characterize Him. We will study why He came and the response of various people in the Christmas story, including how we too should respond to Jesus and His coming. You can purchase the book on Amazon: God With Us by Love God Greatly. Please note: The study is designed to break on the weekends. You will have two days each week without content.
