Will you choose Wisdom? (Part 2)
Yesterday the question was asked: Will you choose wisdom? Let’s assume the answer was yes!
As we see in Proverbs 4:7: The beginning of wisdom is this: Get wisdom. What? Just get it?
But what exactly is wisdom? Where do we find it?
Follow me as we discover the answer to these questions.
According to Proverbs 8:22-23, Wisdom was from the beginning.
In Proverbs 8:32, Wisdom says, “Blessed are those who keep my ways.” In the same chapter, verse 7: “My mouth speaks what is true” and in verse 35, “For those who find me find life.”
Now, let’s read John 14:6 (NIV): Jesus answered, “I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.”
If we want wisdom, we have to find Jesus, and if we want Jesus, we have to find wisdom! They are one and the same. This is good news for us!
Wisdom is not some vague wish that we will never be able to grasp. Wisdom is a Person. His name is Jesus. He says, “Here I am! I stand at the door and knock”. Will you answer? Will you continue to pursue Him daily?
Choose Jesus. He is the path of wisdom for your life.
About this Plan
Life is a series of choices, each determining the trajectory it will take. Will we choose life, by allowing our hearts to be changed by God's Word? Or will we default to our human nature, a passive choice leading to death?
