He Will Make All Things Right!Sýnishorn
God will have the final word, because He is The Word
John 1:1-5: “In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. He was with God in the beginning. Through him all things were made; without him nothing was made that has been made. In him was life, and that life was the light of all mankind. The light shines in the darkness, and the darkness has not overcome it.”
John 1:14, “The Word became flesh and made his dwelling among us. We have seen his glory, the glory of the one and only Son, who came from the Father, full of grace and truth.”
So, who is this Jesus, the Word who has always been? Colossians 1:15-20 describes Him, “The Son is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn over all creation. For in him all things were created: things in heaven and on earth, visible and invisible, whether thrones or powers or rulers or authorities; all things have been created through him and for him. He is before all things, and in him all things hold together. And he is the head of the body, the church; he is the beginning and the firstborn from among the dead, so that in everything he might have the supremacy. For God was pleased to have all his fullness dwell in him, and through him to reconcile to himself all things, whether things on earth or things in heaven, by making peace through his blood, shed on the cross.”
When we feel some fear about what is going on around us, remember that our anchor in life is the Lord, abiding in Him we will find peace in the storms of life, no matter how bad they get. He is our guide, our support, and it’s by His strength that He keeps us secure. He is our stronghold, our fortress, and our Rock.
Jesus Christ said in Revelation 1:17-18, ““Do not be afraid. I am the First and the Last. I am the Living One; I was dead, and now look, I am alive for ever and ever! And I hold the keys of death and Hades.” In other words, Jesus Christ has been, is, and always will be!
He promised us in John 16:33, ““I have told you these things, so that in me you may have peace. In this world you will have trouble. But take heart! I have overcome the world.”
Reflection: Are you ready to rest your entire being in Jesus Christ who is the beginning and the end – the great “I Am”?
