Transform Your Life Through Gratitude and PrayerSýnishorn
I’m Grateful for Adversity
No one gets excited about adversity right? We aren’t really praising God, “Thank you for the pandemic!” Not at all. But adversity presents an opportunity for us to grow, gain perseverance, and develop a closer relationship with God. THESE are things that I’m excited about. It’s all a part of the plan. There are parts of us that God is developing and much of that development comes from pushing through hard times. Those good ole trials and tribulations! I often tell the girls in my after-school program that the greatest, most influential people on this planet have suffered some of the most traumatic experiences. Even the great people in the bible suffered a great deal. Often, our best selves sit on the other side of hardship. We should learn to lean into adversity and trust God’s plan for our lives at all times.
Fill in the blanks as you write this out (and speak this out too!) Lord, I’m thankful for _________________ that helped to develop ______________ in me, and now I am ______________________________.
Prayer: Thank you Lord for the perseverance that develops through our suffering. Thank you that you haven’t left our side when times have been unbearable. Lord, you are our comforter and our strength in the moments of trials and tribulations. Your Word says that no weapon formed against us shall prosper. Help to feel your presence during the storms and know that you are near. AMEN.

About this Plan
When I first leaped into entrepreneurship, I quickly became overwhelmed with anxiety and fear. I decided to join a 30-day gratitude challenge that a friend recommended and after just 7 days I noticed a huge shift. Gratitude, along with consistent prayer can transform your life instantly! I know this for a fact! This is why I created a 7-day devotional to get you started with daily gratitude & prayer.
