Experiencing Intimacy With God

DAY 4 OF 5

Storms – Weathering Hardship with God

I would hurry to my place of shelter, far from the tempest and storm. (Ps. 55:8)

Life storms are a great battle—and a losing one unless Jesus comes to our aid! He is the controller of storms, not only of the weather but storms that ravage our inner lives. We need to accept the fact that in life we encounter countless trials and raging storms.

Those, who have lost loved ones during the ferocity of these latest storms, and the many who survived whose homes the tempests have left uninhabitable, know, you haven’t been left to battle these forces alone. For many under trials and tribulations their life must seemed precariously fragile. Sporadically we sense we’re drowning in stormy waters when encountering sufferings and all manner of trials and various tests, but Almighty God is there with us.

Children, you stand in gale-force winds in the storm and rain. You haven’t worried. You have stood the test of time. You have stood through storms, stood through fierce winds and the harsh beating rains of adversity; you have allowed me to become everything to you.

Jesus will not allow these storms to conquer us, nor permit them to impede our progress, but he will enable us to master them.

I love you, my children. This is a training experience for you. I have great things ahead, so your training must include an exhaustive regime. You are not alone; I am beside you, walking with you. And I do appreciate the suffering you are willing to go through for me. My love is so great for you that I almost want to save you from the hurt you feel, but this road is necessary for your purification and strength.

Assuredly the Lord would spare all if he did not love so—instead, he works for our best interest, for the betterment of our souls. Grasp the concept that this is the way of conquest.

My precious, precious children, I am there with you when you need me. I am there as you go through the valley. Your suffering is not something terrible that you must endure alone, but remember I am with you, and I will show you a way out. I lead you through temptations and storms. I never leave you.

We never, need to fear!

God is in control of the weather; climate change too is in his hands. He knows what he is doing! No matter the tragedies in life, you can obtain comfort knowing God is in control.
