Men, Get in the Game!

DAY 2 OF 3

To unleash the full potential of who you are as a kingdom man, you’ll need to first make sure you’re up for the challenge. Manning up starts by standing up. If you do not take the divinely ordained responsibility that God has given to you, and every man, then you are wasting your life. An irresponsible man is not a kingdom man.

Healing and empowerment do not come with the touch of a magic wand. To be unleashed in your fullest potential requires your desire, responsibility, and focus. That’s why Jesus would often ask the question “Do you want to be made well?” He didn’t just walk around tapping people on the head, bestowing health and power on whomever was near. Rather, Jesus would ask if the person was willing to be made whole. He did this because, if he or she was not willing, He couldn’t help them. Wholeness and strength have to come from within.

You don’t place a lit candle under direct sunlight. But far too many men are content with being like a candle under the noonday sun. Unnoticed. Making no impact. Leaving no mark on a world that desperately needs kingdom men.

What improvements in your life has Jesus been free to make over the last year?

Men, Get in the Game!

It’s easy to sit on the sidelines of life and refuse to get in the game. Maybe you’ve got a bunch of excuses for why you can’t. Maybe you don’t want to make the necessary effort or take responsibility. Maybe you’ve been riding the bench so long you’re not sure you even know how to play the game anymore.
