Loneliness - Finding Hope And Connection

DAY 1 OF 4

Being alone is not the same as being lonely. We all need to find a quiet space at times to collect our thoughts. Jesus did it each day and used that time to connect with God.

On the other hand, loneliness is much different and emotional. It brings feelings of isolation, separation and abandonment. Loneliness often also includes a desire to be accepted and understood by others.

Jesus knows how you feel. He was abandoned by his closest friends and followers. He was also separated from God when enduring the punishment that he freely accepted in order to pay for our sins. Jesus Christ has experienced every human emotion including what it's like to be lonely.

If you want to talk more about that or just pray with someone, then connect with us at [ChatAboutJesus]

Father God, thank you for always being with us. Thank you for loving us no matter what and never abandoning us. Please help us remember that you are with us at all times. Amen.
