Walk Through The Bible 365 - AugustSýnishorn
Something To Think About
Meditation. Who has time for contemplating and ruminating on God and his love anymore? There are emails to answer, phone calls to make, appointments to keep, distractions to ignore, music to enjoy, games to play, exams to prepare for, and work to do. But maybe that’s the problem. Maybe concentrating on our Lord’s amazing, unfailing love could make all the difference in our world.
Prayer: Lord in Heaven, we too often allow the world to dictate our priorities and use of time. Too often, Lord, I’ve failed to focus and concentrate my thoughts on you. Forgive me. I know that when I meditate on your Word at the start of each day, the rest of my world falls into line. Help me to keep you uppermost in my heart today. In Jesus’ Name, Amen.
